If you’re looking for additional ideas and resources to help you grow in your knowledge of God and/or your recovery from addition, here is a collection of various websites and ministries that have helped Julian:
The Holy Bible – The most important thing you can do is start reading the Bible. I would recommend you begin with the book of John in the New Testament. If you don’t own your own Bible, you can access a free online Bible at www.esv.org.
Heartland Community Church – A wonderful resource for biblical teaching can be accessed at www.heartlandpca.org/sermons. If you are local to the Wichita, Kansas area please come and visit!
New Hope Bible Church – Another wonderful congregation local to Wichita. Sermons can be accessed at www.newhopebiblewichita.org/onlinsermons. New Hope is another great church to visit!
Compelled Podcast – A fabulous seasonal podcast sharing real life stories of God redeeming and transforming people’s lives. We love listening to each new episode!
Grace to You – One of my favorite resources is the ministry of Grace to You, which can be accessed online at www.gty.org. You can download individual sermons or an entire series free of charge, then listen to them as you are able. There is also a vast list of resources to learn and grow in your faith.
HeartCry Missionary Society – Another great resource is www.heartcrymissionary.com. Here you can learn more about the precious gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as listen to sermons by various speakers (I recommend Paul Washer). I would also recommend you look at their Reading List for books that can help you grow in the faith, focusing initially on the topic of “Man and Sin.”
Ligonier Ministries – Yet another wonderful ministry to help you grow is www.ligonier.org/learn. This website has insightful articles and you can freely listen to hundreds of sermons.
